SLEEPING BAGS
Re: SLEEPING BAGS
Yesterday I got first present for my next birthday, a german sleeping bag with sweeves and opening for legs, outer side is somewhat rubberised. If someone can give me some intel about it, I attach some pictures:

Re: SLEEPING BAGS
As mentioned at Facebook, this was the first Bundeswehr sleeping bag with a water proof outer rubber layer. That´s why we called it "rubber bag".
You can attach the lower part with a strap up so you can walk still "wearing" your sleeping bag.
Pull the arms in to prevent from cold air comes in
If do you need any help with the cleaning instructions, let me know.

Re: SLEEPING BAGS
What are temperature rating on this? Can be used without ground sheet in the Bayern mountains in May? (I suppose that Alps are like Carpathians).

Re: SLEEPING BAGS
It´s comfortable down to +10°C, it´s "OK" down to 0°C and allegedly you can survive down to -10°C (but I in person would never dare this)
