Dutch Oven in Europe

Post by ak70g2 » Thu Dec 26, 2013 5:06 pm

Because I got an un-answerable question from my girlfriend (she is avid mountain trekker, scuba diver like me, etc.) I put the question to my fellow MRE eaters: where in Europe can be found and brought a real, proper, genuine Dutch Oven like this?

We want to use in overlanding/offroad trips, so weight isn't an issue. Size is 6 quarts/liters, until now we liked the US made Lodge Mfg. 6qt outdoor dutch oven, but seems that can't be ordered in Europe:

Any ideas, other good brands? :D

hi adrian, these are popular with 4x4 crowd in the uk http://www.touring-gear.com/categories/ ... tch-Ovens/ but the cost to send it over would be high, why not travel to the adventure wheel show in germany. Abenteuer & Allrad (Adventure Wheel) 2013, Off road Exhibition Ground, 11 Chapel Street, 97688 Bad Kissingen, near Frankfurt, Germany. there are dozens of cookwear there. ill be there :D :D

I forgot to ask you housil, were there any cold war sites around the area where you hiked?
