military looking case in housil's pic
housil, I noticed that in your reply to NNF's post in the MRE topics about the newer pouches, your food pouches were sitting on a green container with a red cross and the letters "ABC" stenciled in white; is that a container for Bundeswehr nuclear, biological and chemical casualty treatment supplies? It looked to me like the container for the equipment to administer oxygen to a hydrogen cyanide or cyanogen chloride casualty (heavy flow, forced ventilation) From what I saw in your pic, it looks very similar to the containers we had, but a different shade of green.

You are right, this is a Bundeswehr container made by Zarges company They make this solid, waterproof etc. aluminium containers:

That one I used as a "table", was in use by NBC-troops for "NBC aid material" in our OD color.

Thanks for reply housil! Those cases are so cool, you can put all kinds of stuff in them and they even make a good faraday cage to protect radios and other electronics from EMP, as long as the radios and other stuff to be shielded are wrapped in a couple layers of bubble wrap before placing in the case.
