Swede ration

Post by laughing_man » Mon Sep 24, 2012 6:43 am

I obtained Swede ration.
The seller said that it was the Sweden forces ration.
However, I was not able to acquire the information that the Sweden forces adopted it.

About this ration, I found this PDF.
http://www.forsvarsrestauranger.se/uplo ... l%20G4.pdf
I found an interesting description there.
In all the following packages, there are 10 standard menus and 6 special menus (2 lactose-free, 2 gluten-free and 2 vegetarian).
I looked at the lactose-free menu and the gluten-free menu for the first time.

I can confirm you on that point.

This ration is designed to replace the green norwegian one from REAL.

The Norwegian ration was too expensive, this one is cheaper and as a result not that good...

What kind of problem does this ration have?
Is it about the taste?

Somehow this looks like on of those fake rations we see on EBay from time to time. Just a bunch of civilian "off the shelf" products thrown in a zip lock bag and made to look like the real thing. Laugning man...are you sure you have a genuine ration here?

Treesuit,
I bought this ration not at an auction but at the shop which I use for many years.
I think that this ration is not fake.
Please look at this PDF.
http://www.forsvarsrestauranger.se/uplo ... l%20G4.pdf
And please see a maker's page.

The Swedish armed forces are a bit strapped for cash at the moment. I have a few friends who are "home guard" members over here and they beg borrow and steal all sorts of things!
