Norwegian Beef Stew

Beef stew is a very tradition ration dish so I dicided for todays lunch for an Norwegian, freeze dried one

After "soaking" with hot water I got "this". It´s difficlut not to joke about that brown, liquid "sludge". BUT the taste was great!! Real beef pieces, nice rice with a "al dente" texture and a nice, spice but not hot taste. I really liked it

I have really also enjoyed all the Norwegian freeze dried main meals, both the quality and ingredients seem to be very good!

I just had to try it after i saw your post

This is not like MRE beef stew at all, its more of what i would call a hearty soup.
The gravy was more zucchini flavor than beef, and there was rice of some kind.

Very good, high quality ingredients, very sturdy bag i assume these will last forever.

Great main dish overall
