do is think rigth, that this is an MRE Case from 1988 ?

It can't be because in 1988 there were only 12 menus.

No, that one looks like it's from 1998. The cases from 1995 and earlier were the older flat-shaped cases. Plus, they weren't using the TTIs (Time and Temperature Indicators) back in 1988.

Hi CaptBob. Since this case was produced at the beginning of the year - looks like Jan. 14 - they were probably still producing the previous year's menus.
But good catch anyway! I hadn't noticed the "Menus 9-20" part myself.
