It can't be because in 1988 there were only 12 menus.

No, that one looks like it's from 1998. The cases from 1995 and earlier were the older flat-shaped cases. Plus, they weren't using the TTIs (Time and Temperature Indicators) back in 1988.

That's odd. This case was produced in early 1998, but the marking "CASE B (MENUS 9-20)" indicates that the contents are probably from the previous year when they only had 20 menus.

Hi CaptBob. Since this case was produced at the beginning of the year - looks like Jan. 14 - they were probably still producing the previous year's menus.

But good catch anyway! I hadn't noticed the "Menus 9-20" part myself.
