Wow - that reminds me - I did an HDR taste test a couple of weeks ago but haven't had a chance to post the pics yet. Sorry...I could have saved you some money on that HDR...that had to be about the nastiest thing I've eaten in a while (crackers and peanut butter excluded, of course)!

I tried the Bean Salad and Beans and Rice. How bad were they? Oh man...my stomach still cramps up when I think of eating that Bean Salad. Here's a quick look at the bean salad...it's as bad and worse than it looks. Be sure to click on the picture to see it up close.

Yah. MRE's aren't designed to look fine

Living on earth is expensive, but it includes a free trip around the sun every year...

And these weren't designed for our soldiers....
...they were designed for malnourished refugees.
So I guess they can't complain.

Exactly, CaptBob. Funny how the U.S. refugees at New Orleans complained about the real MRE's they were getting. I guess the U.S. Gov't. just was not able to set up McDonalds and Golden Skillet Fried Chicken feeding stations at every intersection.

...if the HDR doesn't come up first!
