Spain Ration

Post by jubifahrer »

Today i got an spain ration and a fwe parts of it

Image

As iam a collector i wont open the original closed complete ration. But i opened two cans of the loose items.

One was filled with peaches:

They tasted very fine, of course a little "tinny"

Then i oppened the small can. There is a very fine tasting liver sausage inside. So tasty, i couldnt stop eating :D

The third can includes frankfurters in tomato sauce, will open them next time. The gree packet is an instand powder soop.
the "kaffeeweisser" is not from the spain ration. Dont know how it gets into the picture

Cool pics - thanks for sharing! It looks like this ration is from 2002. Is that when it was packed or when it expires? Interesting that they're still using cans.

In the first picture, on the picture's right (viewer's left), there's an OD strip of three somethings- what are they?

No, they are esbit tablet. I think you call it trioxane.

I think 3 condoms a day would be a little less for a spanish boy :D
