Post by ak70g2 » Tue Jan 31, 2012 2:36 am

Last nigh I had a whopping -24 degrees Celsius, the third night in a row! Now i fully understand Norge's absence from the forum, he's hibernating.

Something like oºC and -5ºC but the problem is not the cold but the lack of rain/snow. During this period of the year in my area (Burgos City= north of Spain) it usually snows buckets but not this year and this is something that we see as weird and that we don`t like.

Good luck people.

Well I just saw on the news that this cold that ravaged Turkey and Romania is moving from the east to the west and it`s expected in Spain in a few days, maybe a week, so I`ll guess we`ll have to suffer us too.

Good luck people.

I forgot: ak70g2 won`t suffer much from the cold because there is a bottle of Lepanto brandy along with two spanish rations on its way to Romania to help him in these cold winter nights :D

That morning we had "only" -5°C (23F).
I hope we`ll get some of your Siberian winter over here too so I can sleep outside again giving my military winter gear a try Image

This morning I had a little chat with our fellow member Nicodim on Facebook (we are friends on this social network) and he told me "stop whinning ! Here is 8 AM and is -32C! If you let your dog to take a leak outside you have to kick it to start moving, 'cause the liquid will be freeze instantly and will damage the dog!"

When I got his message, here was 11 AM and the outside temperature was -11C.

Regarding Norge, he was very quiet for more than a year. Eastern Europe to Ken: Are you alive? :D :D :D :D
