more seriously off topic stuff
I was talking to a friend who's wife wants to get bo-tox injections to take some years off her looks. I told him honestly that I cannot understand women wanting to be injected with the same stuff that the USSR was loading into some ICBM warheads during the cold war to kill millions of Americans----not to mention the stuff that renders MCI beans and meatballs unfit to eat after only a few decades! He did not appreciate the humor but he agreed with me that it was not one of his wife's better ideas. Anyone's views on this?

Botox is a nerve agent that interrupts the nerves signal.
We in medical treatment do the same thing for local aneasthetics for minor surgeries, treat heart rhythem diseases, cure nerveous disorderes etc... So to us, that nerve-block-thing is a great invention.
Due to Paracelsus:"only the dose permits something not to be poisonous"
So to me, there is actually nothing wrong with it BUT the use just for cosmetics is a different topic that I/we can´t answer over here I guess.

My apologies for confusion, I was told by friends in the medical field that botox is actually botulism which has been "modified" to somehow smooth out wrinkles and such. Pretty dangerous way to look young if you ask me! Thanks for clearing it up housil, now it makes more sense. As for the ORP bacon and beans, biscuits, it reminds me of the "cheese, possessed" ration and if it was storage or quality control issues at the manufacturer which caused the nick-name?
