:) I got a second chance offer for the case of HDR MRE's on ebay.
$50.00, and $ 20.00 for shipping, $70.00 total.
It sounded like a good deal,what do you guy's think ? :?: 8)

Do you have a link to the auction? If it's the same as this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Humanitarian-Daily- ... dZViewItem

by a seller named "qixxerwb" then I can vouch for the guy. In fact, I just received a case of HDRs from him this morning. He's been a great seller to work with.

$50 isn't a bad price for HDRs like these that are hard to find. In fact, I just checked the completed auctions and it looks like his last case sold for $96 + $20 shipping:

HI Kman, that's the one I got the offer on http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8756831598
I guess the guy who won the auction couldn't complete the sale, or the seller had a extra case. I couldn't pass on this one when i got the e-mail about it. I have got a few second chance offers from ebay and haven't passed any up yet

Would you pay over twelve dollars for an old MRE?

Boy! Someone must love very old frankfurters.

Now I know where to unload some of my 10+ year old MREs. Sell a few and then buy a brand new case. :-)

 I got one of the old frankfurther mre's, and a couple of other ones for around 96,' 0r 97' . Are they still safe to eat if they don't smell bad or should I try selling them on ebay ?

Lifesaver wrote:Oy my!! I do not believe I am sharing this one with you all. I know one of you will outbid me; but, it is just too cool not too share. Starting bid is reasonable as is the postage.

That Italian ration pack just went for $168.50! I wrote the guy who sold it to congratulate him. He said it was like winning the lottery.
