I was wondering if any folks here ran across any military galoshes(old term rubber covers...not that other kind, hee, hee!) or overboots that they like for use to protect their footwear be it in slushy snow cities or the outdoors.
Anyone use these and like them? I used to see them floating around in the past but nowadays I do not see them-maybe the Gore Tex lined boots have outdated them.
Military Overboots/Galoshes For Wet Weather?

I've got an old pair of the black US military Mickey Mouse boots, good for wet slushy snow.
The white Arctic boots are better, but mainly for dry conditions.
