I like the simple the better. the Leatherman Core is one of them. 
Also the original multitool, my old trusty 89' Victorinox Champion... 
mine has got plenty beatings since I got it in Zurich 22 years ago and it keeps on ticking.
But the thing is this, in a survival sutiation is good to have multiple knives. You can't rely only on the multitool specially of a blade or any other component gets broken it can render the knife useless....
I also carry this one too....made by Victorinox for the Bundeswehr.

I always carry a Bundeswehr Einhandmesser with me when I´m on duty. Neat tool which really has quite some uses, doesn´t matter if you´ve got to open an EPA main entree or a packet of papers. ^^
Too bad I´m not allowed to carry it when I´m off duty because it´s a forbidden item to carry but once I´m done with the Army I´ll "lose" mine and will modify it so I´m allowed to carry it.
Other than that I don´t really need another multi-tool, the Bw pocket knife is mostly enough.

What is not known, will not worry. I ALWAYS have an Victorinox Huntsman in my pocket. I don't leave home without it. Even for going at the street corner, to buy bread.
