apple butter really isn't butter with apple or anything like that. I can't quite describe it but there is no butter invloved. Let me just say you will love it.

2006/07 menu

Post by DangerousDave » Tue Jan 03, 2006 4:15 pm

I was just checking out the '06 menu list. Saw they did away
with my all-time favorite, Beefsteak with Mushroom Gravy.
Now I'll have to settle for a Hardee's Mushroom/Swiss 1/3 lb.
Tuna??? Say it ain't so. Back when, they had the nastiest of all
nasty entrees called Tuna W/Noodles. We used to call it P----
with noodles. 2007 condiments. Cornbread stuffing and Apple
butter sound excellent. Finally, some HillBilly specific items.
Dirty Dave, Apple butter is the the best fruit spread one could
ever put on a cracker/bread/biscuit. Green pepper sauce.
Nothing but green Tabasco I bet. Available in the FoodLion. I
don't like it. 8)

Thanks Kman for the info.

DangerousDave..I'm With you on the beefsteak/mush gravy
Also Hate to see the jambalaya go.

Wish they would have dumped the beef ravioli instead.
Its been around for a while and not one of my favorites.

But the new entrees coming in 2007 look like they have posibilities.

If i understand Kman correctly we wont see these menus for 1-1/2 years.

Actually I'm all for a four case-48 menu line..not likely though :D

Apple Butter is kind of like thick, smooth applesauce with spices -- typically, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice. It is used as a spread on fresh bread, toast, and as a substitute for syrup on waffles or pancakes.

Yum!
