Re: 300HP ride
This is the "BV", Boiling Vessels, rear left door on the UK FV432 APC.
They were designed to heat cans and retort packs, and theoretically can be used for heating brew water.
Note the electrical connections and mounting for the units.
Any other APC/IFV had this feature?

Hi,
Great! So that's not another nasty French rumor: there's really a tea machine in the British tanks?!

Mate, if such a thing did exist, you would have already seen it on "The Sun" first pagebiscuits brown wrote:Do you have pics of the AMX 10s wine cellar?Stef wrote:Hi,

Anyway that's a good idea, I'll tell my neighbour who works on the local military base as a support tech, maybe he could send a mail to his bosses...

Re: 300HP ride
Just curious housil and biscuits brown, do you know if German and British IFVs or tanks are capable of using different kinds of fuel as our American M-1 Abrams tanks can? I'd heard once that NATO had been considering doing that to every armored vehicle by agreement in order to address the critical fuel issues in any major war in Europe. I don't believe the Soviets ever adopted this system but I may be wrong.
