I had my first Cheese Omelet last week,2006 production.I heated it up in some simmering water. After the first bite, I concluded that the simmering water tasted much better! I tried adding some salsa and put it on a tortilla. Kind of like a poorman's version of huevos rancheros. If I ever served this to my Hispanic friends, there would be a second siege of the Alamo. Is this item still on the MRE menu? LOL. Some things are never meant to be incorporated into rations!

No no, he is just used to different cuisine
Sure, someone may one day kill me with my own gun.
But they'll have to beat me to death with it because it's empty.

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

Hi Norge, I had that diagnosed about year and a half ago, I just take 1 25mg "betablocker" a day, seems to hold it down.
stress dont help, before that, when at work and stuff would happen, it sounded like Niagra falls in my ears

Often its hereditary, my family has a lot of cardiovascular "history"

Ouch

That´s what we paramedics call an emergency! Any headache, dizzyness ect. too?

Any sympthoms of this we knock down immediately by injecting the mentioned "Beta-blockers"

@Norge:
Check you bloodpressure daily.
You Doc needs to find out where the high blood pressure is coming from!

A too high bloodpressure don´t kill you by NOW, but it will kill you at least... Image

yep i had a bunch of headache in the winter time when chopping timber
but not so much when doing machine operaing stuff.

did a lot of blood test at the doctors place, getts the result in a week they told me
and theyre doing a new blood presure test when i have relaxed my 2 weeks.
it was not so extremly bad but he wanted to be shure that the stres was not the problem.
the doctor wouldnt send me home if it was critical high or wrong,if so they would
sent me rigth away to a hospital for a REALY close check.
but he was mostly conserned since i have hart issue in bouth famely (dad/mom famely)
so its good it was discovered now and not if i dropped dead....

cheers ken

I didnt like it. :| Sometime I had dizziness too. The ear buzzing was made worse cos I have always had ENT problems with sinuses and septum problem and it always has given me "ear sounds" when it flares up..
It was very high when it was found, but last checks it was normal TG.

I have lost some loved ones through heart, so it made me think about lifestyle, and the fact "parts wear out" and other stuff

I am a 1961 model. Too often I think I just came off the production line 2010 with warranty

Same goes to you too Ken, we have a duty to look after ourselves. Money is nothing not one microgramme, compared to health. So if it is work related, good bye that type of work!

Can have two causes:
Cold air cools down your head -> headache. But that´s "normal" and happens to everybody

Bodywork causes your bloodpressure to rise, but will drop back to normal after stop working, That´s also a normal, systemic reaction.

Worry if you get headache without any reasonable source!

You/they need to make sure there is no somatic reason for!
Arteriorsclerosis
Renal (Your kidneys also interact with bloodpressure!)
etc.

but 80% of patients with a too high blood pressure don´t have a somatic reason.

Most important is: don´t worry about the measuring result.

If the gauge say 160/80 and you feel OK - it´s OK
If it say 100/60 and you still feel OK - it´s OK

As long as you don´t have any complaints like ear noises, headache, dizzyness etc.

Just make sure the lower value (diastole) isn´t more that 100. That where the "hypertension" begins by definition.

Btw. I took a break of 6 month from being "on call" day & night just to calm down myself and reduce stress to relax myself.
