Howdy Guys,
Been a while. but here's an mini post on a Canadian Eaterz meal: Beef stew.
I got one while a was in Canada, just for you guys.
Meal size is 12 oz./ 340 gr.
No preservatives or anything of such kind, points for that.
shelf life up to 7 yrs.
Price was 7.59 CAD (same in USD I guess since the dollar is almost par) at the Campers Village Outdoor Adventure store.
Quite pricy for just a single main meal. But a few bucks cheaper then at otherplaces. I've seen 'm for just under ten CAD.
Taste was allright a little bland, but overall OK.
texture was somewhat soupy.
good ratio of ingredients (meat to veggies and others)
in general an ok meal, toss in some crackers and it's yummie.
Had some time for myself so I went out for a bit and came across the outdoor store.
I'll see if I can post some more Candian meals in a bit.
Cheers,
Nawt.

Thx for that reciev of a rare item.
CAD/USD 7.59 seems pretty pricy to me for just a main course, or did it came along with some side, crackers etc?

Thx Housil,
It is indeed a bit pricy, I have to agree.
No extra's, It is a single main meal.
I did add some more info to my review it was a bit brief.

I bought 2 cases from the same company but 1 case of Beef Chili and 1 case of Bison Chili.
They were $40 per case + $17 for shipping and handling on ebay.
So the cost to me was $4.75 per entree for products produced in 2008.
The description says they are good until 2013 at 70 degress or until 2018 at 50 degrees.
I have eaten the Beef Chili-excellent taste & very filling.
Will report on the Bison Chili when I finlly decide to have one.
