2005 Menu No. 10 CHILI AND MACARONI

Post by sag45 » Tue Jan 19, 2010 8:53 pm

Tried this out today. The case it came in was always a little bloated and dont know why, the Temp indicator was starting to darken. Mostly had this case below 80 degrees here at the house.

Here are the package contents
CONTENTS.JPG
Mre contents, didnt open the COCOA Beverage date:5139, Taster Choice coffee was brown - not black in accessory package Good taste still.
skittles.JPG
Skittles Date:08/2006, a little sticky to touch, but tasted good. Seems one of them got crunched and leaked out the gooey stuff.
coldbread.JPG
Wheat snack bread and Jal Cheese spread cold. Dates: 5189, 5104
maincold.JPG
Chili and Mac cold. Date:5129
mainnuked.JPG
Chili and Mac Nuked! Was a little dry but had good spicy taste - a little water would have been helpful.
MEALFINAL.JPG
FINAL COOKED MEAL, Chocolate chip mini cookies date: 5206 Really good! Mom tried them and liked them till I told her how old they were.
Overall it was a good meal!, It also came with some Ground Red Pepper pack but have been laying off hot stuff here lately.
POTTED MEAT! A FAVORITE! Eat too much and you get THE GOUT!

Nice review and photos sag45. Chili Mac is always a winner...tastes even better if you mix the cheese spread in it and then nuke it.

Do you think it might have been better if you boiled it in the bag? Sometimes that does the trick.

I just had Chili & Macaroni the other day and found it to be A+ - great tasting and plenty to eat!

When I order my "doomsday supplies" entrees, this dish will be on it!
