Damn...a user with a whopping 4 feedback wants $84 for a case of 12 fake-MREs? I can't imagine why he's having trouble selling them.

Well.. he wants the $84, but you've gotta buy all 1000 cases or however many.. rediculous.

That guy can't possibly be surprised that the auction didn't sell, can he? People just don't get it - if you have a ton of those things to unload, don't go trying to charge premium prices. List them for $25/case and they'll fly off of ebay.

Okay, I agree that they look fake, but can someone point me to info on them, what makes them a poor MRE, etc?

Total ebay record over the last 2 years?...never sold anything but shows 2 purchases totalling $10 (a charger and an iron-on patch) and you can trust him on the $3K worth of overpriced psuedo-mre's. eBay asshat. My favorite part?...Condition: NEW.

I've looked in our civilian MRE section, other places on the Internet, can't find info on them. Here is a picture: Image

Anyone have info?

Seems like I've seen a picture like that somewhere on one of the online store sites - cheaperthandirt.com, maybe. But those just look like your standard home-grown MREs - someone bought up a bunch of parts, put them in a bag, slapped a sticker on them, and are selling them as MREs.

I'm not really opposed to these types of MREs if they were just priced reasonably. They seem to sell for $60-$80 per case where if they'd just sell them for $35/case, they'd be worth it.
