Very cool, indeed! I was trying to find an old DDR flag I had, but today, all I could find from the era was this:

Image
Words fail me to really describe the texture of this. It did have a nice taste with plenty of fruit including raisins and pineapple. I'd eat it again.

Image

Image
These had a slight 'bulge', which i figured was due to contortioning of the containers over the years, rather than spoilage. I did have a small taste of each and all were fine, no bad or off odors or taste

Image
I just went with the jams and the Rindfleischlyoner-grob. The hartkeks were still crunchy and tasted similar to sweet cardboard. Not bad though. The jams were good and the pate was not too dissimilar from Spam in taste.

Image
The all too familiar foil-plastic film separation.

Image
The chili was really good. Nice chili flavor, and while it did have too many beans for my likings, it was actually pretty meaty. The beans were also very firm, like they didn't get a good enough soaking. All in all this was very good.

To be continued...

Hi,
I had some 2003 EPA components yesterday at 5 o'clock. The Grießspeise was a little bit darker than usualy but tasted good. The Rindfleischlyoner had turned orange, it smelt bad, like rancid oil but not like rotten meat; anyway it finished in the trash can :|
In principio erat spamum

I was hoping this would have been ok, but nonetheless it went to the garbage.

Image
Thought I'd try the other meat and cheese spread

Image
Again the meat spread had a spamlike taste, still not bad, and the cheese spread, aside from a slight color change looked and smelled ok but something said better to toss the remainder.

I was looking forward to this. I was picturing burgers in a rich tomato sauce, but in actuality it was like burgers in tomato soup with chunks of potatoes. The burgers were pretty good, and overall not too bad an entree

Thank you for participating in our reunification that way :D

If a chocolate turns white like yours:

don´t worry!!!
It´s not spoiled for sure, that´s just the fat that turns out from the chocolate.
Still edible.

I figured it was the least I could do :D I'll know for next time if I see that again. I've been off sick already this week, so I didn't want to push it too much.
