If do you want to errect a(ny) tent bigger than X m² for non private purpose (like we - the civial protection), you need a license that allows you to "assemble" the frame + cover. Also each tent needs a "tent book" where all inspection, etc. need to be registered.Bypah wrote:Why do you need a permit to assemble that BGS tent? just curious...
What you do as a privat person behind your house in your garden - nobody cares...
Me on that training in 1996

We also got trained to set up a power plant with a generator, a field kitchen, a dump, sanitation etc all for in case of a disaster like the flood I was in 2002
Field kitchen where we got food

"Emergency room" at our field hospital at terminal of Airport Dresden we "occupied"

150 bed field hospital where they brought the evacuated patients from the flooded hospitals of Dresden

Med. units and approaching Antonov at the Airport Dresden (at hill top)

A platoon of ambulances is moving patiens from the field hospital (terminal) on the airfield to the medevac planes

of German Army (Heer) and Air Force (Luftwaffe) to be spread into hospitals all over Germany
Mobile field kitchen trailer under tent at field hospital to feed med crew and patiens

Me (short pants) briefing my EMS crews for night shift

Me at night rest between two ambulances

(who ever that pic made...
After the flood...

I ordered the Cabela's Outback Lodge 10X10. Going to the Blue Ridge mountains, on a hunting trip, in a couple weeks. I'll try to get a pic, with a couple Ladies, but they don't hunt. It's their job to drag, dress and cook the meat.
After the Chicken and the Egg, came the "Omelet"!
