British 24 Hr Ration- Where to Buy

Post by ranger0770 »

I wanted to let folks know that if you are looking for a British 24 hr ration, they can be found at www.surplusandoutdoors.com/ishop/877/shopscr408.html. They seem to have a good selection right now but it varies from time to time. The price is a little steep at 10 pounds a piece and I'm sure the shipping is horrendous from the UK, but if your interested, its a fairly reliable source for them as opposed to Ebay sometimes. I bought a couple of ratpacks from them one time and they were pretty good. I can't remember how much I paid, but I do remember that I had sticker shock with shipping!

You CAN NOT import them into the US. They do not have FDA approval.

Note the date when I said this. Remember the stories recently about Brit rations being burned. Told ya. Sucks don't it?

couldn't they mark the rations on the customs form as "reinactor supplies" or "historical artifacts" or sumthin like that?

Gotta love the government bureaucrats- they constantly need to go around justify their own existence

One of the biggest lies ever told - "We're from the government and we are here to help".

Right up there with "The check is in the mail " and "Of course I will respect you in the morning, baby..."
