Re: South African ration?
I believe the cellophane-wrapped sausage-like thing is biltong, a South African staple somewhat resembling beef jerky. It's moister and has a different flavor, and South Africans of all races eat it like snack food.
"I think," said Christopher Robin, "that we ought to eat all our Provisions now, so that we shan't have so much to carry."
Re: South African ration?
I have a friend who lives in South African and I'm trying to acquire one of their rations.
