I can understand collections like MREjap's but I can't really imagine collecting boxes of EPa's :| (unless your a real eater like me)
A "serving" means just "Portion" (in German), so I don´t have 3000EPa´s, I have 3000 servings of rationed food! Thats more than 70 T-Rations, a couple of hundrets MREs, 70 EPA´s, lots if French and UK ratrions, fiewld kitchen rations etc... All together ~3000 Portionen (!) and all edible!
Enough to feed me for 2 years or my whole family for 6 month :D

We all over here are eating our rations and not just collect - right guys?! I´m doing it the "fifo" way. First in-first out. Means I allways eating my oldest rations first (still eating 2002...)

Ok, I misunderstood it..
I got the part about the servings as meals, but I only assumened you had 3000 EPa meals..

I really doubt you would still want to eat it after to you had the same 6 meals for 6 months day in, day out :D
I'm also a real "be prepared" person, but I'm not really into storing food for emergency's

I can support the family here for about 2 weeks, but I'm also learning in bushcraft (20 years old at the moment, started when I was 12)

So I'm able to get my food from whereever I want, I'm not really scared of eating the "creepy" stuff, but I do not do it as a part of my hobby.. It's not like I like to eat insects, trapped rabbits, birds, squirrels, fish (I don't like fish anyway) etc.. So when some hatebeards blow up a dirty bomb, a reactor melts down, or a major chemical incident happends... I'm screwed
Sure, someone may one day kill me with my own gun.
But they'll have to beat me to death with it because it's empty.

yep, that's why I'm screwed in such an incident.. But I recon everybody is screwed, and I think the military will hand out free MREs.

The civil prices will sky-rocket and overseas companies like sopakco will have a great year supplying europe with MREs..
But luckily the chance it will happen is one in a billion...

Yep.. 10 minutes with the bicycle.. 1 min with the car..
The BoB is very unrealistic though..

The germans only had Panthers there, no tigers or jagdpanthers..
(I'm very interested in the second world war, I also search for relics with the metal detector)

The best part is, the americans laid tankmines against the german panthers near the canal.. After that, the XXXth (30th) Armoured came.. and ran onto the mines, inflicting heavy losses on allied side..

That slowed the cleaning part after the liberation of Eindhoven a LOT..
