EPa 1990

Yesterday I got case of 4 1990 German Bundeswehr EPa´s Typ II:




Even at age of 19, everything inside is still in perfect condition. My only concernings are the crackers, they lost vacuum and could be spoiled.


Schmalzfleisch ("meat pate"), Bierwurst (very common kind of pate, but contains no beer. sry folks...)
As entrees, Bauerntopf ("farmers stew", but not made from farmers... ) and Schweinefleisch mit grünen Bohnen und Kartoffeln (Pork w/ green beans and potatoes)
I would eat all of it without hesitation


Margarine came with every EPa in these day´s but got replaced, spoiled to often...


Chocolate, never saw that wrapper too.

I`ll keep that case close to store it, but see that 1988 entree from an early review:



was still edible after 19 years!!!

oh yeah! thats the way i went into all this... exactly that epas from the 90s.

I still need to get some EPAs, probably off you EPA!

One question though, what is the difference between the different Types, and how many Types are there? Type is not the same as menu, no?

they changed the main entree from time to time. and the water purification pills arent in every charge since 2004. some have it some not. but EPA light still have it in every box.
i would be glad if we make the deal.
