their own veg stock pouch :lol: :mrgreen

al things are genuin army

Me too, but I never saw that freeze dried entrees and that canned fruit cake before!

I still have no idea what this is... I recognise the packaging but cannot remember where from.

Housil would you like another tinned fruit cake? I think we stock them in work, if we don't I'll pick one up next time I go to a larger shop with my parents :D I'll even include a packet of custard so you can have a real British Desert 8)

I think Simpson ready foods is based in my old home town of Manchester UK.....they also made little meat puddings in cans like that as well...........

Have you ever seen that UK (?) ration before?
You are in fact right, that appears to be an Arctic 24 hour ration. But only a piece of it as shown below.
