MOST OF MRE'S you see on ebay are Government issue and can be acquired by a unit coming out of the field and having left overs that end up on the maket by someone digging them out of the dumpster or they can be purchase at the commissary on most military bases also over runs from the manfacture or defects get aution of to companies like long life foods , major surplus ext....... tons of army and navy shops have them and gun shows!
Very true - there are lots of very legitimate places (Ebay included) where MREs can be purchased. All these people complaining about "illegal MRE sales" need to go pound sand.
