Hey Guys,

As you know, the British packs are/were pretty limited in menus, 7 to pick from, plus others like Halal, Kosher, Veggie. Due to the combat in the Desert it looks like they have jazzed them up a little. These are some of the New British Ration menus, its not for the new Multi-Climate pack but the new 2007/2008 menus, I found this list on an ebay auction, they are correct to my knowledge, I've had a couple of packs and the menus are what is listed. All day breakfast is a full english fry up, sausage, bacon grill, mushrooms, potatoes and beans in a tin... or this case a pouch. Like bacon and beans but with a few extras.... The tinned version is pretty good.

FUll Monty is pretty similar.

I've got the Omlette with bacon and beans here... I'll give it a try one day this week,

I think my stomach just did a flip when looking at those cans.

Mind you, if you are in the great outdoors after doing a lot of work, it would certainly fill you up.

Are they going to start putting antacids into the 24 hr packs with that? Heh heh...

Your welcome, Housil... If you want a tin, just let me know :D

:D I've taking a tins of that camping, Wake up, start a fire, lid open a little, stick the tin in the embers and wait... straight out of the tin with plenty of brown suace... its best breakfast money can buy!
That might be an idea...I normally carry a couple in my backpack anyway, along with paracetamol and a small first aid kit, always comes in handy.
Water purfication tablets come with the British pack in the brew kit, got a few packs somewhere. Only used then a few times. They just mount up.

Also, that menu just looks awesome.. I love indian food.. I wish we could get those easily over here. It kills me how much they cost. :(

One of these days I'm making a trip to England and bringing an empty suitcase just for 24 packs to bring back, customs be damned.

You can pick up the older packs pretty cheaply... my local surplus store has the for £6.50 thats 05 dated... the newer ones tend to go for more... the last 08 pack I had cost me £10... the BIN price was 17, I was lucky.

If you like Indian food, move the UK most town have at least one Indian take-away... my village pop about 5000 has 2 plus 3 chinese and 2 kebab shops... so a take out meal for every day of the week. Indian food is pretty uncommon in the US isn't it?
