Re: MRE "Grab Bag" Cases for sale
Hi guys,
Just an update on this. With the summer coming I have more "grab bag" cases and smaller boxes if some of you are traveling and need snacks or whatever. Lots of folks here have taken advantage of the smaller boxes and been quite pleased, so once again I will offer them to anybody here. As for the larger MRE cases I have quite a few in stock, I also have some unopened cases as well. Just PM me, thanks

'scuse me, but what do you mean by a grab bag?
Like a snack rather than a full days ration?

Re: MRE "Grab Bag" Cases for sale
I can answer that as I got a grab bag case from him. It is a case of full, unopened meals. It's just that the assortment in the case may come form different menus. There may be some duplication. I ended up with two of one meal in my case. Otherwise, all the meals were different. I can honestly say the assortment was good and the price was more than fair. If you're on the fence about getting a case, go for it. You won't be sorry.britman wrote:'scuse me, but what do you mean by a grab bag?

I'd quite like a small box box, Just wondering how much would postage be to the UK? I get the feeling its going to be expensive.

Amen, Lifesaver.... for a fair price you get a box full of MRE goodies.....
britman, imagine when you open a ration usually there are leftovers(buiscuits,candies,snacks,drinks..etc) that you set aside and they accumulate.
Garron , is not a small box, usually is about 1.5-2.0 pounds (weight) of goodies in a USPS flat rate box...
He simply fills a box and for a sensible price you get a bunch of "stuff"....like a "grab bag" only "grab -a box".....
Peace!

Gaz, to save you from US => UK postage and EU customs regulations, I have 5 boxes of "left over items"...Garron wrote:I'd quite like a small box box, Just wondering how much would postage be to the UK? I get the feeling its going to be expensive.

Britman,
The other forum members are quite correct. What I do is fill a box with MRE items (parts, if you will) and set a flat price plus shipping. The box has an assortment of drink mixes, snacks, desserts, Etc. I have it at a set price because shipping nowadays is un-reasonable but for the overseas folks it's another matter. If you want please PM me and let me know if you are interested, something can always be worked out. Thanks
