From the auction:

"...This is a unique collectors item, Very hard to get"

Hehe, the only "hard to get" is the box. Every thing else is "ordenary" supermarket stuff.
But thx for sharing!!!!! I would take it, bot not for an arm and leg! Image

come on, that's the price for a soup and a glass of water in a French restaurant but in UK or the USA :D

In Paris, in a good French clean bistro you can find a real meal (not the "queue de langoustine à l'oseille avec son petit coulis de framboise et ses macarons d'avocat flambés à l'armagnac et aux trois poivres") , I mean a full plate of "boeuf bourguignon" stew with a lot of good fries, a "choucroute" (as you know Sauerkraut IS French  ) a "cassoulet" (SW France style baked beans w. bacon, sausages)...

Leave the rest to the snobbish tourists

Anyway, it can be valuable for a true collector but if I want a can of spam, one of (Green Giant?) corn, some tuna and gherkins I go to the nearest supermaket and I have all that for, say, 10 bucks, maximum.

When i was in France back in 89' the only expensive food I saw was McDonald's and Coke.
Water was free and wine was cheap.....
But you can get the "plat d'jour" ,excuse mon francais...lol for affordable prices. Good food with wine included...yummmmmm!! :D

Peace!
