juicy fruit, and teaberry gum mixed is the bomb.

Baldy wrote:As far as US gum goes, I like 'Big Red' and I sometimes buy a pack from an import store here in Melbourne. I seem to remember a 'Trident' lemon-mint flavour that was really good, but I've never seen it on sale here.

My all-time favourite is 'Extra' apple flavour, but they appear to be phasing it out here in Australia. :( Time to start hoarding.
My favorite in cinnamon gums is not the Big Red of Wrigleys.
My feeling is that Wrigleys Big Reds are losing there flavor very fast.
Of the cinnamons I prefer Dentynes "Cinnamon Classic" or Orbits "Cinnamint" :)
The "Dentyne Cinnamon fire" is realy hot...to much fire for me...they are just hot

Berry gums : Dentynes "Tango mixed berry" are great and very tasty !

Hmm... I seem to remember driving from Hanover to Munich taking more that a couple of hours, but it was snowing and the traffic was somewhat heavy. We were only able to go about 140kmh most of the way and only able to hit 230kmh for a brief period. ... then there was the time that I had to drive from Soest to Dresden and I can assure you that it takes more that 2 hours to go from almost the Dutch border to almost the Polish border.

You are still in the same state. Wow...

Are you referring to those 1l mugs that are commonly found during Oktoberfest? We can get those over here occasionally. The ones that I have were manufactured in Vienna. But since our climates are a bit warmer, the beer does stay cold long enough for the time that it takes to drink it

Thats a 5 hours ride thru 3 states (Niedersachsen, Hessen, Bayern), in Bavaria without speed limit. At Niedersachsen and Hessen at A7 (Autobahn) they have that sporadically 120km/ speed limit.

Us too.

I remember driving for 2 hours in USA - still in the same city...
But we can´t drive 7 hours without leaving the same state like "you" (over there) :D
7 hours of German Autobahn can(!) bring me from Austrian border to the north sea.

our distances are realy not comparable with the states but that doesnt mean that you reach your destination very fast in Germany
small country,to much cars on the highways,to much working sites, speed limits...that gets on nerves

we use these 1l beer mugs at every village event over here not just at the big events like Oktoberfest and you also can get them in many restaurants or in guesthouses with a Biergarten.
If you use those 1l beer mugs in warmer areas you have to drink a little bit faster, moldy beer is realy not a hit
Also our common bottle size of beer is 0,5 l.mostly 20 x 0,5l bottles in one case.
