Simpert Reiter Travellunch

Post by DangerousDave »

This is some German outfit at Augsberg. They make these Mountain House type rats. I was wondering if any of you guys know if they have a distributor in US. All I can locate on net is UK based. The co. has a good website, but no info on US distributors. I guess they said MH, Alpineaire, etc, have the US locked down, so they won't bother. :?:

Looks like the only place to get those Travellunches is overseas...I'm pretty happy with Mountain House myself - readily available supply here. And I'm still stocked up from that last great group buy they had a while back. Ah...Mountain House group buys...those were the days!

To my opinion, if you don´t get/had a Travellunch, you didn´t miss something.
The taste is just average/pale/silent. No much salt nor any other spice.

I like(ed) the norwegian more.
