1st Products HomeBake Scoop & Bake cookie dough

shelf stable 10+ months, no refrigeration required. looks like they make some other decent stuff as well, check it out:

http://www.firstproductsinc.com/products4-slide.html

they have the 1lb 2oz tubs at the local dollar stores here for $2.50 (only the chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin flavors) but is also available at wally world and other chain stores.

i tried the chocolate chip. i don't bake it i just eat it raw. it's made with dried eggs so it's safe, and no, you don't need to refrigerate the tub once it's been opened.

just the thing if you are looking for a substantial ration type dessert. just don't be like me and eat the whole tub in one day :D

That looks pretty cool. I didn't realize they had shelf-stable cookie dough there. Here's a picture from their website:

"Scoop & Bake"...heh...more like "scoop and eat"!

Nice, I'll have to pick up some of this and try using it in a camp oven.

no, as a matter of fact the thought never even crossed my mind. i only intended to eat it as cookie dough. but since i like it as much as i do i am going to be making it a regular part of my supply list so eventually i will actually try baking cookies with it.

what's nice about the stuff is that you can make as many or as few cookies as you want at a time. the 18 oz tub makes 18 regular sized cookies.
