Beef Enchilada in Sauce
DATE CODE: 7163
MFG: Ameriqual
RAITING: Depends… read on.

Mitz and I split this meal as neither of us where very hungry. We had made chicken Enchiladas the night before and hoped this would be as good. The corn tortilla somehow remained dry even though it was sitting in sauce. The ground beef was very over done and had a chewy texture to it. None of it was bad, but this is not my favorite meal, I’d give it 2.5 stars (not great, but I’d eat it). Mitz on the other hand thought it was really good. She especially liked the sauce so much so that she scooped out all the extra in the bag and ate it. She gave it a 3.5 (pretty good).

I have to say that this is one of my least favorite meals. I would have to have eaten everything else I have before I would go for this one.

I like the enchilada.

Be aware however that it is only *good* as it comes in the pouch. It requires Tabasco to allow it to bloom into the culinary dream come true which is the US military enchilada.
