Yoders Canned Cooked Bacon.

Post by DangerousDave »

I was just wondering if anyone has tryed it. Have'nt seen any other posts about it. Expensive, of course. MreDepot and ReadyDepot carry it. I might order a couple of cans. Looks like MreDepot is only place that will sell single cans. They're in CA, though. :?:

I've been looking at those and am really interested also..
If you do get a can, will you please post a review..?
The pictures make them look good..but only a taste test by a knowing individual will be the true test of quality..

I've also been looking at the whole canned and deboned chickens too.
Wonder how those turned out?

i have read reviews on warrifles sounds like people were pretty pleased with it.
"Do not attack the First Marine Division. Leave the yellowlegs alone. Strike the American Army."
Orders given to Communist troops in the Korean War;
shortly afterward, the Marines were ordered
to not wear their khaki leggings.

I have the chicken in a can that still has the bones, and it's fine. It's basically an overcooked boiled chicken in a can, so take it or leave it, thats just what it is. It's good for soup if you don't mind f'ing with the bones, doesn't take that long though since it's not hot, and for the price you can't beat it.

Waaaoow, 109 bucks! I love bacon but even with a high euro, I'll keep on buying "Herta" bacon for a while :o

Stef, thats about the price for a case of twelve cans. Not a single. I ordered 4(single cans). The Pork is on the way! I'll try to do a picture taste test on the forum. :wink:

I busted open a can. It's the real deal. Very lean bacon. Excellent taste right out of the can. I ate 6 slices. I was afraid it would be cheap overly fat, but that was'nt the case, for this can anyway. The paper was fairly greasy, but hey, it's bacon. It's worth $10 a can. I counted 37 slices in this can. The inner layer was folded in half, but easily separated.

I forgot to add, with the Yoders canned fryed bacon order, I ordered a couple cans of Red Feather Cheese, from Australia. This canned cheese is the same as the canned cheese the Aussie's used to include in CRM1 rats. Great stuff. :D
