Ah! That solves the riddle as to why it appeared that they were importing Baxter products to Canada from the UK. It does not appear to be the case, but rather that Les Produits Freddy Inc. (or whomever their parent company might be) is licensing the Baxter's branding in Canada.

Thanks for the update, that perked up a little curiosty.
Actually, after a little research, I'd be inclined to think that Les Produits Freddy Inc. has been owned by Baxters for quite some time. Earlier Freddychef products listed Les Produits Freddy Inc as having the same phone number as Baxters Canada in Saint-Hyacinthe, which is also the same number listed for Soupexperts Inc.

Nice find! And like MCIera said, that goes a long way towards helping clear up the questions about Freddy Chef.

My GF and I are eating the Pork with wine sauce, and the Beef macaroni chinese style. The pork tastes a little off, most likely due to the orange coloured wine/cream sauce. I was afraid of the "chinese" flavour but after I opened it it was better than the pork.
The peaches were just like can peaches. The pineapple tasted like it was intended for an asian stirfry, that is, kinda sweet but without the usual tang. The apple slices were the same thing as canned apple pie filling, rather sweet and left me really craving some pie crust.
How do you check the age with the codes on these anyway?
