of course this little squirmish has to be the fault of the americans. we should all plainly see that. in fact all that is bad in the world is our fault. i am sorry world.
"Do not attack the First Marine Division. Leave the yellowlegs alone. Strike the American Army."
Orders given to Communist troops in the Korean War;
shortly afterward, the Marines were ordered
to not wear their khaki leggings.

yeah, IRPinfo.com !
In the way that 'com' stand for communist instead of commercial.
How will Russian raitons taste like. I've heard bad things about them. Brrrr...
A 1000 US troops were in Georgia when it started the attack into S-Ossetia! Oh what a coincidence. Oh what a suprise.
What the %&$# is anyone thinking these Americans troops were doing over there at the very moment the war started? Instructing Georgian troops how to eat MRE's?
Suppose Cuba would invade Guantanamo Bay (which in fact would not be an unreasonable event) and a 1000 Russian soldiers were at present. How would the world react?

the U.S has over a thousand troops in many countries worldwide. so i suppose that if anything happens near any of those countries then it's just those evil americans again.

In WWII the US interveined in favor of the allies because they saw the "RED HORDES" moving ligthning fast towards Germany.
They thought that the nazi regime could finish and conquer the russians but you know the rest of the story. There is a story that is told... that the allies had an accord, lets the nazis anihilate the red communists and then after that, they where going to sit down and negotiate in the diplomatic table. It included that Hitler left alone the UK. But history showed otherwise...
And I say this taking into consideration the sacrifice of the WWII veterans which I have the deepest respect and admiration for them and their generation.

As 'I' recall, the US declared war on the Axis on december 8th, 1941 after being attacked by japan, a member of 'the axis powers'
The russians didn't start advancing toward germany until january 31, 1943.....after a year of german attacks and millions dead.
Over a year later.
History mangled again.

I also have my deepest respect for those foreign soldiers (mostly US) who gave their lifes and of course also for those who survived. They died so that I can live.
The generation that liberated my familiy is now almost gone, just as the soldiers that had occupied the country. And we're since a long time no more mad at the German soldiers!
During the Cold War western europe was 100% dependent of the US troops to defend us against the communists. We could not have made it on our own, and my believe is that we owe it to the Americans that we do not speak Russian and eat Russian rations.
But that was then, and this is now.
The US has indeed many troops in many countries, so therefor they do indeed share responsibility when one of these countries willingly and knowingly starts a war.
Look at Google Earth and find the US embassy in Sierra Leone. The picture is a few years old, but still you can see how hughe it is. I myself saw the buildings a short while ago when I was in SL. It is an enormous compound. I can almost not imagine why the US puts such a large compound in such an unimportant country. SL is the poorest country on earth! And still is has one of the biggest US embassies around.
Does anybody really think the US put the compound in SL to bring peace, spread the word of democracy and find ways to give the people of SL a better life? Maybe that will be nice spin offs, but here must be another agenda.
When I was there I spoke to a US soldier who trained the SL army. Still my deepest respect for the guy, because he really did good things that I am to cowardish to do.
However, I don't think the US has its main interest overthere in educations, wellfare and democracy.
Wasn't Charles Taylor president in SL? In which country did he study before being a dictator? Which country did arrest him and his fellow students? And who was the only one that came out of that country without a conviction, and then started his dictatorship? Coincidence?
BTW, I also noticed how the Chinese are taking over Africa. When they want to do business they do not care about corruption and the moral issues of giving money to buy there interests. They built large factories in a clever way: They lay down beautiful roads so the people in country can travel on high quality roads, which makes them very happy with the Chinese.
But then they do not even PRETEND to give a damn about other people.

History mangled again.
History is not "mangled",plenty or facts are coming out with new researches and historical investigations of events that where unknown, hidden and covered byt the "official history" we all know and grew up with it....
Remember... After victory ,the winners always rewrite history to their benefit!!

US intervention in Europe didn't happened until D-day , June 6th ,1944... 1 year and 5 months (aprox.) after the soviet advance toward Germany.
