Pretty good pics - thanks for posting them! How did that ham steak taste? Like regular ham or more like spam?

I love the honey that comes in IMP's, like this one.
I know they've had some spoilage issues with it in the past, but what an awesome side item.

It tasted like like ham and spam at the same time though more like ham. The sauce kind of killed it though.

I've had this menu, I really liked it. I thought the sauce would be too much, but I didn't personally find that to be the case, two sides to every coin I guess. Be careful with those cereals, I had one and the powdered milk had gone bad, and I didn't check it before I took a spoonful.. there's no difference between bad powdered milk and bad regular milk, yuk.

Thanks for the review. The IMP bread, even 10 year old ones are pretty good. Yes, its certainly better heated up for a few minutes, new or old. The crunchy cereal is really good as well. Again I've had ones 10 yrs old that still tasted quite good. I miss the old blueberry Type II cereal. Don't think they've been around for some time though.

I have an unopened package of the blueberry cereal here, actually. I just lucked into six full IMPs (including the ham and mustard sauce profiled here) and a garbage bag full of bits and pieces of about 20 more IMPs. This includes at least 15 bread, 8 or 9 main courses, plenty of cereal/side dishes/beverages, and a ton of condiments. A friend of mine found out that I'm into MREs and cleaned out what was readily available from the storeroom of his unit. I'll post pics as soon as I figure out how to do so (any help would be great!)

Scut Monkey, we'd love to see any pics you could post. All you need to do is take the pics and then when you're posting a message, there should be an "Add an Attachment" button just above the "Preview" and "Submit" buttons. Click on that Add button and it'll open up a new panel where you can specify which pics you want to upload.
