YES DEEP FRIED BACON...wow
Saw that on the Food network some time ago. Actually its chicken fried bacon, however, it's just an appetizer (might as well be a full meal
)
Apparently the 'creator' owns a place called Sodolak’s Original Country Inn, which is in Snook TX.
Heres a link for a recipe for this:

Actually there are many varieties of flavored salt available, but bacon-flavored sounds interesting.

I tore open Menu No. 8 and found a cheese spread with bacon.
From the 2004 menu:
http://www.mreinfo.com/us/mre/menus-xiv-2004.html
Two wheat snack breads I thought was a mistake
until I checked the menu. All components agree with the menu.
