2 years ago, the Bundeswehr (German Army) issued a UGR-similar
20 person group feeding ration with a starter, main course and side, dessert.
Today I got the very first items

:
10 Bratwurst
40 meatballs
300g beans (freeze dried)
750g dumplings (freeze dried)
500g pea stew

Very nice acquisition. I'd love to get some of those for our Scouts. Sadly, shipping would probably be prohibitive. Thanks for sharing the photos.

It´s genuine Bundeswehr
The manufacturers are e.g.:
Lukullus
DNG Farmland
also:
Veris
Not unknowen manufacturer of professional, convinced, gastronomic food.
They are familiar to me from my father, head cook and kitchen chef (master degree and gold medal winner) of famous northern bavarian "Bräustüble".
They are civilian made - but not civilian avialable

no of course not. the dumplings have to rise up in water before you can cook them- also the beans i guess. and the sausasges you have to fry. "bratwurst"
only the "klopse" (meatballs) can be eaten cold
correct me if i fail housil
