What the hell is all that stuff? This genius ebay seller tells you to click a link to a .au store, but the link doesn't bring up the item - just the general store.

Yeah I noticed that crap too...it makes me wonder about this guy :shock:

meanwhile when i found what looked like the actual item, it really didn't tell me much about the calories, etc. If I am gonna depend on this stuff, I need to know how much food it actually is.

It's amazing they'd ever see any of that stuff. They want AU$300 and they don't tell you the contents?

This person is selling the Readi-Safe Survival Pack from a company in New Zealand called Portion Pack Foods. More detail of the pack contents is here. This company produces ration packs for the New Zealand Army and supplies components of the Australian Army ration packs.

An example of a New Zealand Army ration pack is here, and the civilian version here. Notice the extra condiments in the military version of the ration pack.

I have not tried any of their products, so I can't offer any advice about the quality, sorry. It's a pity that Kitbag does not include much information about these products in their web sites.
