Custom Accessory Packs
I customized my own accessory packs with plastic packing materials around the house and one used plastic accessory pouch. These pouches are sealed just like an MRE accessory pouch. They contain items not found in accessory pack and handy to carry in your bag or pocket. I've doubled up on handy items like moist-wipes. These packs are headed to Iraq.

Rival, the manufacturer of the Seal-a-Meal, has vaccum sealers under the Sela-a-Meal branding that are more affordable than the Food Savers. About 1/2 the price, and the heat strip will function as a bag sealer. The bag material for vaccum sealing is interchangeable between Food Saver and the Rival product, and Wal*Mart also has bagging material that can be used with both machines.

Hey those look cool...did you use a seal-a-meal to get them to close? I'd like to find a seal-a-meal myself and experiment but the vaccum sealers are damn expensive! How'd you do it?
