Compares WW2, Vietnam-era and modern uniforms. Funny how the guy complains about the weight in his pack when it's clearly empty.

Ok, now I've watched it I can say its hardly hugely informative. I wore the last two outfits in my time, and yeah I guess they were quite comfortable. And I have used all the weapons featured (even the AR SLR - what a piece of crap!) and owned a .303 in the past.

Kind of obvious that the reporter was never a soldier!

Yeah mate, I admit it is short and obviously aimed at the average newspaper reader - just thought some of the non-Aussies here might find it interesting. The museum guy seemed to know his stuff, though.

Hey guys ever notice in the first video that the LAV crew had some US MRE's strapped on top of the turrent before leaving the wire? I'd say that was kind of a nice touch.
At least those Aussie soldiers weren't gonna starve or something. :wink:
