That is a super looking ration, and some great pictures. I especially like the "3 thumbs up!" guys.
I'm probably going to feel stupid when it's explained to me, but can someone identify the lime-colored plastic thing next to the spoon?

I was wondering the same thing. If it is a can opener, it is the strangest one I've ever seen; and, I have no idea how it works.

OK, yeah, I think I see it now. Maybe to open the tins somehow?
I had presumed they had lids that simply peel off like an EPA, but looking at those pictures again, perhaps not.

My first guess also. Opening cans. Also, I think the Spetznaz guys tryed to attach it to a 6 ft. stick, and kill Rambo with one of those.

Heres a pic of Aussie, American and French can openers. Could someone please explain what that Russian thing is? It looks like a metallic arrowhead or something.
