Where's your friend going to be staying/visiting? Will he have a shipping address? How many MREs were you looking for him to bring back?

Finding civilian MREs in stores can be hit or miss. Army/Navy Surplus stores usually have something but they're usually pretty high-priced ($8 each). Then again...if he's converting Euros, everything will probably be cheap seeing what the exchange rate is. :-)

+1 on what kman said. Have him look on craigslist.org for whatever city he'll be in, I find them on there from time to time for reasonable prices..

Yeah, believe when I make it to Germany I'm going to let you guys know ahead of time so I can have some stuff waiting for me. :) If I lived in that area I'd be glad to hook him up, but fortunately I don't. ;)

You should have him contact MREDepot. Maybe he can arrange to have a few pallets shipped to Germany by container cargo? Or maybe even a shipping container or two? :) You could corner the market in the EU
