I used the "Color Balance" feature in Corel PhotoPaint. The same feature also exists in Photoshop, but I could not tell you where to find it.
I use the Corel product because it is included with CorelDraw, which I actually use.

In PhotoShop it's Image-Adjustments-Color Balance to correct it manually, or there are automatic adjustments that can be selected as well.

You guys wouldn't believe how much I hear about this stuff from my wife. :-) She's a graphics designer and lives in Photoshop. But I'm more of a "use whatever tool is handy" kind of guy so I've been doing most of the pics for the site with IrfanView (freeware - great program!) and Paint Shop Pro (which is photoshop-like) for any detailed editing.
Every once in a while, I have to break down and ask her for graphics help and the solution almost always seems to be to click this one magical button in Photoshop which will fix all my problems. But of course, I'm not using Photoshop, so she just snickers at me and says if I give her the file, she'll do it. :-)
One of these days, I'm going to have to install either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements (simpler/cheaper version by Adobe).

I don't know what to tell you, BigMark.
I cannot tell you how jealous I am of you lucky bastards who get to use Adobe's fabulous technical support. I am sure that if I ever actually need Corel's support, it won't be nearly as good.

I was just being a jerk.
There isn't any real difference between the two products. I would go with Kman's suggestion and use Paint Shop Pro if I had to pay for it.
If, however, you are working with raster graphics then I might argue about the right choice.

Hi BIg Galloot, good notice.Big Galloot wrote:I think that the part of the picture on the right has too much red in it. Unless the plate is pink.
Well the plate wasn't pink. I do apologise for the poor copy and paste work. The pink shine I guess came from the athmospheric and weather conditions at the time I took the pictures. I admit I'm not good with that.
But I've seen both meals and the spaghetti pizza bake was definately darker for colour than the #20 spaghetti. Perhaps I should have added this pics. they turned out to make you guys a little confused and bragging about photo editing software

cheers, Nawt.
