Friend's daughter got to try old MRE stuff

A friend and of mine got to meet up with some of her friends that are Veterans at a local meet up she went to and got to bring her daughter with so she could meet everyone and learn about their time in service and she was able to have a blast talking with everyone. She also got to try some vintage MRE/LRP components like the cookie bars, chocolate covered cookie, cocoa, coffee, and was bewildered by those dried meat patties. She called them aquarium ornaments and (jokingly) an insult to mankind. She enjoyed everything though, even the aquarium ornament. XD
