The first one that comes to mind for me is "The Unit". It ran for four seasons and ended in 2009.

Tour of Duty was always awesome. It's the first thing I think about when I hear Paint it Black.

Band of Brothers or The Pacific would be in the list too if you count mini-series.

I also watched "Over there" and "Generation Kill", but I didn´t like it this much.

You young bucks are too young to remember a '60 tv war series called Combat... it was a favorite so I bought the DVD set... another DVD set which I receive for X-mas, Band Of Brothers... On the History Channel here in Canada Combat used to come on just before or just after Tour of Duty, but I can't recall which was which. Used to love it.
