Back from one week Alp Mountains offroad trip

I just came back from a 6 days, 5 countries Alp Mountains Germany -> Austria -> Switzerland -> France -> Italy offroad trip.

Europa´s most high border Italy/France at 2.744m (= 9.000ft)


Visitung nice cities


See old WW1...


...and WW2 fortifications


Driving at the edge of the Alp Mountains for hours


In no mans countries


Far far away from any food place...
So we had to have lunch sometimes in the middle of nowhere at 2.000 m


Lucky me, I always bring an MRE with me


10 years old "beef stew", great taste and also the FRh worked great!


2nd lunch from same MRE


3rd...


But we also had great Italian and French food!

housil - Your pictures always "deliver"... truly enjoy those spectacular scenic views... question: the Alp Mountains roads you drove for ours, not paved???... one more question: traveling from country to country, no need for passports?

Nope, just graveled (if you have luck) or we drove on the plain rocks. These "streets" were built in/before WW1.

That´s Europa - no need for passports to travel over borders

WOW Look at that mountain view, spectacular... one more question, promise: How many miles did you guys travel on the grave roads?

The total trip was 2.333km (=1.500 Miles). Due to the roadbook, we did ~ 800km offroad.

It goes without saying, you put off-road tires on your Ferrari 488 GTB!
